Gliders are, of course, welcome whenever we are flying! If you are thinking of arriving by powered aircraft you should contact BAE Systems ATC during normal office hours as prior permission is strictly required. Unfortunately, you must arrive and depart whilst the tower is open, movements outside these are hours are restricted to aircraft based at Walney only. The tower can be contacted on 01229 471147/471407.
Frequencies: Walney Radio is on 123.20 and we use 130.10 when the tower is not operational.
