We have a Clubhouse which doesn't look much from the outside (ok, it's a very large portacabin) but is warm and inviting inside with a kitchen, loo, pool table and lounge.
A small number of Trailers for visiting pilots can be accommodated on our hard-surface trailer park that has tow-ball and anchor points to keep trailers secure in high winds. (We learnt our lesson after this!...)
Although camping is not permitted on the airfield there are a number of suitable sites only a few minutes away.
The Lake District is excellent for holidaying. There are many excellent pubs and restaurants, shops, entertainment and countryside areas.
